Terms of use
A small, straightforward agreement.
Effective 10 July 2026
Using Selfime
You may use Selfime for personal, lawful purposes in accordance with the rules of the store through which you obtained it. You must not reverse engineer the app except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Your content
You retain ownership of the scripts, audio, and reflections you create. Selfime v1 does not receive or license that content.
Free edition and Lifetime
The free edition includes three completed recordings and one Sealed Tape delivery. The optional Lifetime non-consumable in-app purchase unlocks unlimited use of those features and is not a subscription. Purchases, refunds, restoration, and any eligible Apple Family Sharing are administered under the applicable store terms. Google Play does not share in-app purchases through Family Library.
Recovery responsibility
You are responsible for device backups and for safely storing any Selfime Recovery Kit and recovery code. Because Selfime does not possess your key, we cannot decrypt or recover a library if every unlocked copy and the recovery code are lost.
Wellbeing disclaimer
Selfime is not medical care, therapy, diagnosis, or an emergency service. Seek qualified professional help for medical or mental-health concerns and contact local emergency services when there is immediate danger.
Availability and liability
We aim to make Selfime reliable but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Selfime is provided without implied warranties beyond non-excludable consumer guarantees, and liability is limited to foreseeable direct loss.
Changes
Material changes will be reflected by a new effective date. Terms that accompany a future optional cloud service will be presented before you enable it.
